FHE - November 2

My Robo vac does the floor on Mondays and Fridays. I usually try to be in the shower while it's doing its job. I did spend a little of my morning watching it running back-and-forth before I got into the shower.

Then I needed to do something with my hair. I'm liking it much better since the last haircut, but it's always a little stressful curling it with a hot curling iron.

I frittered away most of my morning after the shower, and had to hurry just a little to get over to Arrington's in time.

We had a good discussion. I had brought some erasable colored pens with me to see if Curtis and Barbara could help me figure out how to make them work. Usually you push on the button at the top to get the writing part to pop out, but that didn't work with these. We each played with one for a while, and then Barbara took hers apart and as she put it back together. She saw that the thing on the side that helps you slip the pen into your pocket is the part that goes up and down, pushing out the writing point. We were all very excited that she figured it out!

On the way home, I stopped at Walmart and bought a bunch of stuff. I want to try making some muffin tin meals and freezing some of them, so I bought some ingredients for that. I also filled the car with gas.

I was very grateful to have a door knob that opened like a lever instead of a round knob when I carried my groceries into the house. What a brilliant idea that was!

I watched some TV in the evening. I'm enjoying watching John Hilton's broadcast on Scripture Central each week.
